PAT chief threatens to observe Martyrs’ Day in Raiwind if govt stops people from coming to Lahore, says he has recordings of conversations between Shahbaz and Nawaz which prove their involvement in the ModelTown incident

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri has announced to mark August 10 as Yaum-e-Shuhada (Martyrs Day) by paying tributes to those martyred in the ModelTown carnage, besides kicking off a “green revolution” on the same day. He has added that the present government will fall before the end of August and vowed that the blood of martyrs and those injured in the ModelTown tragedy will not go in vain.

Qadri was addressing a PAT General Council meeting at the PAT Secretariat in the presence of leaders of other like-minded parties, including Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q)’s Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) and others on Sunday.

The PAT chief invited the nation to participate in Yaum-e-Shuhada on August 10 in ModelTown, Lahore to hold prayer session for the 14 PAT workers killed during the “worst brutality in Pakistan’s history committed by the Punjab government”.

Qadri warned the government that if any crackdown tactics were employed to stop the people from coming to Lahore to observe Martyrs Day, he would change the venue to Raiwind.

‘GREEN REVOLUTION WILL COME TO PAKISTAN FOR SURE’:

Moreover, Qadri said that green revolution was bound to come to Pakistan. He said, “If we wanted, we could have held a sit-in after the June 17 killings of PAT workers till the government gives in but we did not and remained peaceful,” adding that his party did not want to divert the army’s attention from operation Zarb-e-Azb.

PAT has spent the past six weeks trying to get a First Information Report (FIR) registered against the killers of the PAT workers but on the Punjab government’s instructions, the police have not registered an FIR, Qadri alleged.

He said that the “killers” were still enjoying government positions. He claimed to have phone calls recordings of Shahbaz Sharif and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif which proved their involvement in the ModelTown carnage, adding that they will be disclosed at the right time.

Qadri said that Pakistan was devoid of democracy or law and order and the lives of Pakistanis “are worse than the lives of dogs and cats of the western world”.

    WHAT WILL GREEN REVOLUTION BRING?:

Talking about the “green revolution”, Qadri said that the present “corrupt” rulers will be immediately jailed and their fate will be decided within 15 days after appearing before a justice court. Warning the Punjab Police, he said that aggression will not be tolerated and requested the police, bureaucrats and civil servants to defy any illegal government orders.

He said that the police will be held responsible if it implemented the government’s illegal orders. He said he will then immediately implement his 10-point revolutionary agenda to benefit the poor and oppressed people of Pakistan. He further added that hundreds of thousands of political appointees in various government departments will be sacked and replaced by deserving people.

Qadri’s spokesman Shahid Mursaleen announced that the present regime will end within three weeks and urged police officers and civil servants to start a non-violent civil disobedience movement.

    1. GREEN -QUADRI SHALL BE SH*TTING SOON WHEN PAK ARMY BULLETS FLY IN ISLAMABAD AGAINST QUADRI IMRANKHAN TRAITORS .

      • We pray to God for peaceful settlement of all issues and without shooting single bullet. If this time Army will come they will come completely and Mr Imran wants the same thing as he has been wrongly advised by his close ones.

    2. For God sake, let Pakistan to progress. Cartoons like Qadri, Imran, Choudhry brothers and skeikh have no political visibility and space in present sceneiro as they can’t wait for next 4 years.
