UHS gets ‘inspire grant’ to start research programmes

LAHORE – British Council and Higher Education Commission (HEC) has approved University of Health Sciences for “inspire grant” for which grant would be offered to start combined educational and research based programmes both to UHS and Liverpool University United Kingdom.
International Strategic Partnership in Research and Education (INSPIRE) is basically programme introduced by British Council to enhance the cooperation in higher educational institutions between UK, Middle East and South
Asian countries especially Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. British Council has recognized only 17 countries including UHS among 123 applicants for Inspire grant this year. According to plan, UHS and Liver pool University would conduct not only workshops but also the exchange of staff.
