The citizens-police liaison committee (CPLC) and anti-violent crime cell (AVCC) police in their joint operation on early Monday morning recovered an abducted Karachi trader from Dadu.
The AVCC and CPLC arrested two kidnappers who had demanded a sum of ten hundred thousand rupees from his family.
According to CPLC Chief Ahmed Chinoy and trader Raees Ahmed was kidnapped from Sukkur city last month by some unknown kidnappers. The trader’s family then contacted police to recover him. The CPLC and the AVCC made joint teams to look out for the trader.
On a tip off, the teams raided a house in Dadu and rescued Raees Ahmed safely while arresting his two kidnappers. On the other hand, police in SITE area arrested a dacoit Abid after minor scuffle and recovered arms from his custody. SP SITE Fida Hussain informed media that Abid had robbed millions from factories in the area.
