Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) is doing its full efforts to provide trained manpower according to the requirement of the industry. To promote technical education and vocational training, during the last five years, TEVTA has established 72 new Technical and Vocational Institutes across the province of the Punjab, including six Colleges of Technologies at Taxila, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Sangla Hill, Kamalia and Pindi Bhattian, eight Technical Training Institutes at Bhalwal, Shorekot, Bhera, Jalalpur Pirwala, Chakwal, Chowk Sarwar Shaheed, Joharabad and Faqirwali, six Vocational Training Institutes for Women at Chakwal, Mianwali, Chowk Sarwar Shaheed, Sukheki, Rahwali and Kangun pur and fifty two Technical Training Centers at tehsil level have been set up. A number of 18125 new male and female students have started getting technical education and vocational training at these newly established colleges and institutes.
