Pakistan Railways (PR) on Tuesday decided to reduce fares by 50 percent as a special discount on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.
The discount will be given to First Class, Economy, AC, Sleeper and passengers of other categories. Special discount will be given on more than 100 trains on first and second day of Eid.
New notification regarding discount will be issued in next two days. Railways General Manager Anjum Pervez said that passengers can also make advance booking for the first and second day of Eid.
