Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid said Tuesday that rather than provoking people to riot, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan should the masses to serve the country.
Speaking to reporters outside Parliament House, Rashid said 307 members of the National Assembly would not participate in the PTI’s long march scheduled to be held on August 14, adding that only 35 members of the PTI would be part of the party’s tsunami march.
“PTI’s march is a one-day event which would transform into a quick march,” he said, adding that it was not the right time to hold such protests and the country’s entire political leadership should work for the welfare of the internally displaced people from North Waziristan Agency.
