With Eid just around the corner, the beauty parlour business has started to gain momentum.
For improving their looks at the festival after the tiring routine of Ramzan, women are interested in having a new hair cut, hair dyeing, streaking etc.
With the changing trend for the last few years, not only women but men also seemed to visit spas and saloons especially teenagers for unique hair styles and facial treatment to have a fresh look.
Many saloons also announce special packages and discount offers to enhance their business and have more customers while on the other hand big and reputed saloons did not treat anyone without appointment.
Shazia Ameen, a beautician at Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, said that the customer turnover was increasing with each passing day. She said that after Ramazan 25, the number of customers increase for facial, skin polish, manicure, pedicure. She said women should take good care of themselves as it is a basic requirement in this era of competition and looking attractive is their right.
