Following a smooch-on-the-cheek trailer and a bunch of colourful posters, Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan starrer ‘Khoobsurat’ has released its first official trailer.
With an adorable chemistry between the lead pair evident in the trailer, the film is a colouful quirky, modern romantic comedy set in Rajasthan.
The movie revolves around a vibrant, clumsy physiotherapist Dr. Mili Chakravarty (played by Sonam Kapoor) who meets with her complete opposite; a handsome, well-mannered prince Yuvraj Singh Rathore (Fawad Khan) on her visit to the royal palace for treating his paraplegic father, Raja of Sambalgar, Shekhar Rathor.
Mili makes a place in the hearts of the Rathore family, along with the handsome prince. The trailer consists of snippets of the romance blooming between the two leads as Milli.
Sonam’s wardrobe is a crazy fusion of rainbow colours and mismatched prints while Fawad looks ever-elegant with gelled, sleek hair, trimmed beard and crisp kurta pajamas, suits and sherwanis.
The trailer has left fans of Fawad Khan in Pakistan swooning over his new avatar.
The film is a remake of Hrishikesh Mukerjee’s 1980 hit film of similar name starring Rekha.
It also stars Kirron Kher, Ratna Pathak Shah and Aamir Raza Husain.
It is set to release of September 19.
