Islamabad Police have arrested seven outlaws from various areas of the city and seized weapons and stolen property from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to details, Shalimar Police arrested Luqman and recovered one 30-bore pistol from him. Tarnol Police recovered one 30-bore pistol from Zaheer Akhtar.
Industrial Area Police arrested Aftab Ahmed for careless driving. Sihala Police seized one 12-bore gun from Arshad Mehmood. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
Meanwhile, Islamabad Police nabbed three proclaimed offenders during crackdown against absconders and have also accelerated the efforts to arrest those who are being at large despite their involvement in crime of heinous nature.
Meanwhile, two vehicles and 50 bikes were also impounded during checking which were being driven without authentic documents, while eight professional alm-seekers were nabbed.
