Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) spokesman Siddiqul Farooq Saturday advised Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT)’s chief Tahirul Qadri to first get elected as a parliamentarian and then challenge the prime minister.

Speaking to journalists, the spokesman said, “Qadri is like a villain of some Punjabi movie, delivering bad dialogues.”

Farooq also advised Qadri to abandon his Canadian citizenship and serve his followers with religious intent.

Without taking name of PTI chief Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri, party spokesman said that some elements did not want to see the country making fast progress towards a prosperous nation under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He said these elements could “daydream” but could not derail the democracy in the country.

Farooq said that Pakistan-China economic corridor project is key plan and would prove to be a game-changer in the whole region. He said the government was utilising every possible resource to control energy crisis in the country adding that Gaddani Power Project is an example which would produce 6,000 MW of electricity. He said China was a great friend of Pakistan and Beijing trusted Sharif’s economic policies.
