Prime Minister House Joint Secretary Mahiul Din Wani will be appointed as a new chief commissioner of the federal capital.
Sources revealed that Wani, from the District Management Group (DMG), and currently working as Prime Minister press secretary is expected to be appointed as Islamabad chief commissioner and a notification of this appointment will be issued within a few days.
According to reports, the incumbent chief commissioner has submitted an application of leave for four months while Wani has been promoted to Grade 20 recently.
