Contempt plea filed in SC against Khan

A contempt of court petition has been filed in the Supreme Court against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.

The petition was filed by Islamabad District Bar President Naseer Kayani. The petition states that Imran Khan has been targeting the judiciary during his speeches and interviews, adding that undue criticism falls under contempt of court. The petitioner also said that Imran Khan had been using critical and derogatory remarks against the judges. The petitioner requested the court to take action against Imran Khan under Article 204 of the constitution.

  1. Third degree tactics being used by NS will be counter productive. In any case the government will have to pack up and quit like twice before. .They are a bunch of inadequates ruling the country who have lost touch with the politics .
