Aircraft of private airline damaged at Benazir Int’l airport

A passenger aircraft of a private airline got damaged at the Benazir International Airport when a strong windstorm hit twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Wednesday evening.

According to a private Tv channel the plane A-320 of the private airline parked at the airport skidded off with the strong blow of the storm and smashed with a wall of the building of Royal Airport Services.

This cased damaged to the aircraft.

The Civil Aviation officials reached the place and started an estimate to the damage caused to the aircraft. All the incoming flights were diverted to Lahore during the storm
