Adiala Jail Deputy Superintendent Ahsan Mujtaba has filed an enquiry report with the Islamabad High Court (IHC) in a case pertaining to violence against a prisoner.
A single bench of IHC led by Justice Shaukat AzIz Siddiqui took up for hearing Samia Mustafa Gillani versus federation case Tuesday.
The counsel for the petitioner Samia Mustiaf Gillani said during the hearing of the case that inquiry report conducted by jail authorities against Assistant Superintendent Tasawwar Tarar was fake and against the facts.
Justice Siddiqui remarked suggested that objections may be filed in case of reservations with the report.
It was said in the inquiry report that prisoner Syed Mustafa Gillani was not subjected to any violence by jail authorities in jail and Adiala Jail Assistant Superintendent Tasawwar Tarar has been transferred.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till the conclusion of summer vacation of the court.
