ISLAMABAD – Criticising Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Saturday, Senator Shahid Bugti said the prime minister’s reply in the Upper House to extra-judicial killings in Balochistan only rubbed salt into the wounds of Baloch people. “The prime minister did not reply to our concerns on extra-judicial killings in Balochistan and said he had included people from Balochistan into his entourage for India,” Bugti said, adding that it was not an answer to the question of extra-judicial killings in the province and it was a tantamount to “rubbing salt into our wounds”. Bugti was speaking on a point of order on the Senate.
He said if the issue of Balochistan could be resolved by taking people from the province to India, it was a very easy solution to the problem and the prime minister should take some people from there to India every week so that crisis in all provinces could be resolved within a few months. Bugti said such statements were not reflective of the sincerity of the government
