Jackie Shroff’s career was given a major boost thirty years ago by master film maker Subhash Ghai when he re-launched Jackie in the block buster film Hero. We also hear that at the music launch of Heropanti Ghai admitted that he was envious of Sajid Nadiadwala and Shabbir Khan because they got to launch Tiger Shroff.
Apparently, when Tiger was born, Subhash had sent Jackie a cheque of Rs. 21,000 which the show man jokes was technically a signing bonus.
He wants to start a film with Tiger by the end of the year and wants the movie to be a romantic and action filled flick. This won’t be the first that he films Tiger. He had directed father Jackie and then baby Tiger in a short video on national integration, Sara Bharat Yeh Kahe some decades ago. He points out several similarities between father and son but he thinks Tiger can beat dad Jackie in the dance and action department. Currently, Ghai is busy co-producing the remake of Hero which stars newbies Suraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty.
