Taxila Police arrests 30 suspects including a PO during search operation
Taxila Police in a search operation conducted in different localities, have arrested 30 suspected persons including a proclaimed offender who was wanted in a murder case registered in Islamabad.
According to Rawalpindi Police spokesman, Nisar Ahmed, resident of Dora Badhal Tarnol Islamabad, was a proclaimed offender in a murder case. He allegedly killed Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Muhammad Ramzan and Constable Ansar Mahmood.
Taxila Police on the special directives of Rawalpindi Regional Police Officer (RPO) Umar Hayat Lalika and City Police Officer (CPO) Hamyoun Bashir Tarar launched a search operation and conducted several raids to arrest criminals and proclaimed offenders.
Police arrested three drug peddlers and recovered 4875 grams of charras. Two illegal arm holders were also netted and police seized two pistols 30 bore with 28 rounds. Heavy contingent of police conducted raids in different areas. During the raids, police checked over 200 houses and 400 persons while 30 suspects were sent behind the bars.
