The one-man judicial commission formed to probe the Model Town police brutality incident has summoned the Punjab inspector general, Lahore district coordination officer (DCO) and Lahore Development Authority (LDA) director general to appear before the tribunal on Thursday (today).
The commission comprising Justice Ali Baqar Najfi is investigating the incident in which at least eight people, including two women, were killed during the clashes between Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) supporters and police on Tuesday.
Earlier, District and Sessions Judge Jawadul Hassan was appointed as registrar for the tribunal.
