The PML-Q central leader and former Punjab chief minister Pervaiz Elahi said on Tuesday that the government’s days were numbered and the rulers will themselves run away from the country.

Addressing a press conference at the PML-Q Secretariat, Pervaiz Elahi claimed that police cannot fire on protesters of Tehreek Minhajul Quran without the orders of the chief minister and law minister. He said the rulers of Punjab were perplexed and they were targeting their opponents.

He said on one hand operation was underway against terrorists in Waziristan while on the other hand unarmed people were being shot at by the law enforcers. He alleged that the government violated the sanctity of Chaddar and Chardiwari and attacked the Minhajul Quran Secretariat. He said the treatment mated out to the women was also a matter of shame.

The PML-Q leader said no judicial inquiry was required into the gory incident of Lahore as everyone saw what happened with their own eyes. He claimed that a revolution has already been started and the whole nation is standing up against the rulers. He said the people’s protest will continue until the rules leave the government.

Elahi said his party will welcome the Minhajul Quran chief Dr Tahirul Qadri on June 23.

  1. Why this idiot has such a short memory??

While the nation was yet to recover from the sudden shock of the US action in Abbottabad, Ch. Pervaiz Elahi was taking oath as Deputy Prime Minister on 2nd May 2011 so as to hush up the investigation of NICL mega corruption involving his son, Moonis Elahi.

Similarly, Ch. Wajahat Hussain has been involved in EOBI scandal. PT has also reported Moonis Elahi’s offshore account in BVI (British Virgin Islands) http://www.pakistantoday.mbt.pk/2013/04/04/nation

Now this corrupt goon daku wants another Martial Law to give patronage & protection to his dacoities.

  2. The whole nation will welcome Tahir ul Qadri on the 23rd! I love Qadri's resilience to peace! despite such injustice he remains focused on his goal for revolution… only through peaceful means!
