A three-member bench of the Supreme Court has been formed to hear a petition filed by the government, challenging the Sindh High Court (SHC) order to remove the name of former military ruler General (r) Pervez Musharraf from the Exit Control List (ECL).

The bench headed by Justice Saqib Nisar and comprising Justice Asif Saeed Khosa and Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan will take up the case on Monday.

The SHC had ordered the government to allow Musharraf to travel abroad but had suspended operation of its order for 15 days so that the respondent (government) could appeal before the apex court.

  1. Let the man go and visit his ill mother in Dubai. And the government should be busy with real criminals such as TTP. and not settling old scores.

  2. Let Musharraf take charge again and he will purge this country of all terrorism. The man is the actual lion this jungle needs. Not paper tigers like Nawaz Sharif.

  3. There is no doubt that the Supreme Court will decide in one way , and that is to keep his name on the Exit Control List (ECL). The contention of the general/'s ,awyer are untenable at law. The formation of bench assures us the predictability of this result. Do not be disheartened General. Whatever you sow so shall you rep. Remember yiur own dictatorial conduct. We must learn some lessons from our own dollies..
