ISLAMABAD – The United States (US) Embassy in Pakistan strongly condemned Thursday’s terrorist attack in Charsadda that killed at least 13 people and wounded many others. “We offer our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims. Today’s atrocity is the second in as many days believed to have targeted the leader of a political party. Yet again, Pakistani citizens and Pakistan’s democracy have been viciously attacked by terrorists who have no respect for the norms of civilisation. The United States stands with Pakistan for a peaceful and prosperous future, free from the threat of violent extremism,” a US Embassy spokesman said.
