In order to beef up security measures at the Karachi Airport, additional strength would be deployed and 100 cameras besides scanning gates would be placed.
Due to probable threats of security, numbers of additional security personnel would be deployed at the airport while 100 security cameras and scanning gates will be placed around.
According to sources, visitors gallery on Jinnah terminal has been barred for public, whereas scanning gates will be placed on entry point of Jinnah terminal. The road on back of the airport will also be blocked, they added.
