Pakistan is maintaining peace, preaching peace, longing for peace and making every effort that all its neighbours live in peace and prosper.
In all these aspirations Pakistan Armed Forces stand by the govt and practically ensure to make such struggle successful by undertaking all measures and bearing pains and sufferings. It is not only internal front and own borders where they stand vigilant to protect their country and sovereignty. It is also beyond borders that they show their courage.
Pakistan is the largest contributor in United Nation Peacekeeping Missions. More than 8,000 military and police personnel are serving in the UN operations. Their sacrifices have already written a new history in the chapter of UN operations. Another example of extreme responsibility and duty is set by Major Kamran Khalil in Liberia and Subedar Tanveer Hussain in Congo who embraced Shahadat last year placing another feather of respect in their cap. They are being honoured by UN. But the actual honour to them is by the country and its people who get inspiration from their extreme sacrifice.
