Pak High Commission gets access to Altaf Hussain

LONDON-

The Pakistani High Commission has been granted access to Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain, who remains under arrest on charges of money laundering by the London Police, a private news channel reported.

Pakistani high commissioner to the UK, Imran Mirza, will be meeting Hussain at the hospital where he is undergoing angiography.

Earlier on Thursday Hussain was issued a Pakistani passport and National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP).

According to Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed, Hussain has been issued the documents and his party leaders have been informed of the development.

  1. so "bhai" has been issued a passport, which he can tie it round his neck , like a cat's flea collar! He wanted the passport like "yesterday" to do a "runner" from british justice- never mind he is now under 24 hrs watch by the UK police. it is unfortunate that his pal sattar cannot move the UK courts to grant bhai permission to avail bhai for excellent medical facilities in pakistan, where he can be given parathas made from asli ghee.If all does not go well , bhai will have to settle for english porridge in Her Majesty's guest house
