Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq has demanded Rs 100 billion development package for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

Talking to reporter on Sunday, the JI chief said the government must identify elements involved in sabotaging peace talks. He said clash between institutions would hurt democracy in the country.

“Imran Khan has the right to stage protest demonstrations,” said the JI chief. He said the tribal people are suffering the most in two-side attacks.

Haq said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should visit Waziristan instead of foreign trips. He said people were the sole authority to topple the government.
