The Karachi Council of Industrial Association on Thursday demanded provision of security to traders on permanent basis.
A meeting of Karachi industrial associations was held which demanded deployment of sincere and honest police officers in Karachi. Karachi Council of Industrial Association Chairman Mehtab Chawla said an emergency should immediately be imposed in Karachi to control worsening law and order situation. Other traders said Karachi was being destroyed under a pre-meditated conspiracy. The traders threatened to shut industries if government did not fulfil their demands and fail to make proper security arrangements.
