Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that politics of protests (referring to PTI’s Faisalabad rally) was a conspiracy to bar the government from working for the country’s progress and development, especially in Punjab.
In a statement on Sunday, the minister said that Faisalabad was a stronghold of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and “new arrivals” could not deceive people through fake pledges and verbal claims.
“People are well aware of the real leadership and turncoats, they will not support the elements who wanted to destabilise the country through protests and halting the development process,” the Punjab law minister added.
Sanaullah said that Rs 200 billion power projects with capacity of 270MW would be inaugurated for Faisalabad within a few days while opening of first turbine of Nandipur Power Project would be held on May 31.
He urged the people to oppose the leaders who through politics of protests wanted to deprive them of basic amenities and using them for their political interests.
