Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s rally in Faisalabad on May 25 will be a complete flop.
The minister said the PTI had suffered a massive defeat in the PP-136 Narowal constituency by-polls.
Speaking to reporters outside the Punjab Assembly, Sanaullah said that PTI will face defeat in the by elections at Hafizabad on May 29 as well.
PML-N’s Shujaat Khan defeated PTI’s Khan Manj in the by-polls.
“Rigging and election losses have fallen in love with PTI,” Sanaullah said.
While commenting on the PTI rallies against rigging, the minister said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan was heading to Faisalabad for a “flop show” after his Islamabad anti-rigging protest failed miserably.
“Opposition parties in Punjab Assembly have nothing to do than creating ruckus in the house”, he said. “The manuscripts of the laws are not read nor any amendments are suggested in it,” he added.
Sanaullah added that the session of the House will continue till Wednesday for the completion of its 100 days.
“The decision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif attending the oath taking ceremony of India’s premier-elect Narendra Modi will be taken by the professional committee of the Foreign Office,” he said.
