KARACHI – A career counselling project worth Rs 15 million for youths is being initiated, said Sindh Youths Affairs Minister Faisal Ali Subzwari on Tuesday. He was presiding over a meeting held in his office.
The minister said that the Department of Youth Affairs is initiating a career counselling programme for youngsters at a cost of Rs 15 million. He said that this will help guide the youths to adopt a career that is in accordance with their aptitude and abilities. Sindh Youth Affairs Secretary Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui said that the programme would prove to be beneficial for the youngsters.
British Council Sindh and Balochistan Director Mashood Rizvi also spoke on the occasion. He said that the British Council would select the models of popular career counselling for the programme. “It would be ensured that the youngsters are provided complete guidance,” he added.
Sindh Youth Affairs Director Khurshid Ali Shaikh said that in the first phase, 12 educational institutions of Karachi and Hyderabad would be selected for the project.
