CDA earned Rs 184.700 m from G-9 bus stand’s auction in last 5 years
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) had earned Rs 184.700 million through auctioning of bus stand in G-9 Markaz during last five years.
The facilities provided to the passengers at the bus stand included a ticket counter, an administration office, a tuck shop, a waiting room and four wash rooms, an CDA official told APP.
He said the Aabpara wagon stand was auctioned in September 2013 and its contractor would provide basic facilities like wash rooms, cafeteria, parking management and security system, and mosque after issuance of no objection certificate by Islamabad Transport Authority (ITA) and IslamabadCapitalTerritory administration.
The CDA initiated action against bricks and sand dealers doing business along Jasmine Road, Sector G-7, he added.
It was a fact that the dealers had damaged the footpath along Jasmine Road and Directorate of Municipal Administration (DMA) had cancelled their licences, he added.
The official said the stall holders had been provided relief from the court of law wherein the CDA had been restrained from taking any action against them.
