All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) Central President Dost Muhammad Brohi has given a call to hold a protest sit-in at D Chowk of the federal capital on June 4 to press the government to accept their charter of demand and raise salary of clerks, government employees and technical staff.
The APCA office bearers including Central Additional Secretary General Mehboob Ali Bhatti, Central Secretary Information Chaudhry Zafar Ali and others announced that the association will hold pen down strike on May 22 and 29 throughout the country including Azad Kashmir in favour of their demands and against the rampant inflation. They said that protest rallies and demonstrations will be held in all major cities. They also said that several committees have been constituted to make arrangements to hold sit in at D Chowk on June 4 successful.
