Six religious speakers booked for violating amplifier act
Rawalpindi police booked six religious speakers in various areas of the district for violating amplifier act.
The persons that have been booked included prayer leader of Jamia Masjid Rehmania in Shah Di Tahlian in the jurisdiction of Waris Shah police station, Maulana Muhammad Abdullah of Jamia Masjid Nemat in the jurisdiction of Sadiqabad police station, Masoodur Rehman and Maulana Muhammad Arshad of Masjid Abi Bin Kaab in Naseerabad police station, Qazi Abdul Rasheed in the jurisdiction of Saddar police station and Maulana Muhammad Iqbal of Jamia Madjid Tadreesul Quran in the jurisdiction of Gujjar Khan police station.
The police registered cases against them for unnecessary use of loud speakers.
