Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Fiqah-e-Jafariya (TNFJ) chief Hamid Ali Moosavi has said that peaceful protest was the democratic right of every person and party but protest for electoral reforms is the tune being sung untimely.

Addressing the Mehfil Baabul Murad at Shoeb-e-Abi Talib in connection with birth anniversary of ninth Shia Imam Muhammad Taqi on Saturday, Moosavi said that poor people demand immediate relief from issues like terrorism, price hike, load shedding of power and gas.

He said the country was in the grip of internal and external threats, shortage of gas and electricity coupled with price hike has made the life of general public miserable.

The TNFJ chief said tension between law enforcers and Geo News was not in favour of the country. The possible success of anti-Pakistan forces in the neighbouring countries of Afghanistan and India and mistrust in relations with long-standing friends like China and Iran owing to incidents of terrorism provides food for thought, he added.

Moosavi said the rulers and politicians were not doing politics but hypocrisy; no one is ready to term right as right and evil as the evil.
