Islamabad High Court (IHC) has suspended CAD secretary notification and reinstated former Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) director general (DG) Dr Shahnaz A Riaz on her post.
The court has also sought parawise reply within 30 days from CAD secretary and Establishment Division secretary with reference to Dr Shahnaz’s petition.
IHC single bench comprising Justice Noor-ul-Haq Qureshi took over Dr Shahnaz’s case for hearing Friday.
Raja Shakil counsel for Dr Shahnaz A Riaz appeared in the court and told Supreme Court (SC) had ordered for appointing Dr Shahnaz A Riaz as FDE DG besides giving ruling that she would not be transferred. This is a post of promotion and no one except prime minister can accord approval for transfer. CAD secretary reportedly violated court’s orders.
The counsel for petitioner prayed the court to declare CAD secretary orders illegal besides seeking parawise reply from the concerned quarter on the petition filed by his client.
