KARACHI-
A court in Karachi sent four of the five suspects of the murder of Suleman Lashari, an O’ level student on a four-day physical remand, a private news channel reported.
The main accused, Salman Abro; son of SSP Ghulam Sarwar Abro’s was not presented for recording his statement in the court as he is reportedly hospitalised.
On the night between Wednesday and Thursday, Abro, accompanied by his father’s guards, attacked Lashari at his house located in DHA, killing him on the spot and injuring his guard.
Lashari’s guards returned fire, killing one of Abro’s guards and injuring Abro.
The deceased guard was later identified as Zaheer, who was appointed for SSP Ghulam Sarwar’s security.
According to Clifton SP Ebadat Nisar, the incident occurred as a result of animosity between the two rival groups. The police official said police were trying to ascertain the cause of lethal armed brawl.
Soon after the clash, a heavy contingent of police reached the scene. The prime suspect, Abro and his three accomplices were arrested.
