Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Pakistan People’s Party Chairman has strongly condemned brutal murder of Human Rights advocate Rashid Rehman Khan in Multan and asked the Punjab government to nab the culprits and those who had been threatening him.
The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) Coordinator for Multan was gunned down by two armed men inside his office on Wednesday.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari declared sheer negligence on the part of Punjab administration for its failure to provide security Rashid Rehman Khan despite his several requests as reported in the media. He demanded special security measures for the human rights and other civil society members who are target of extremists and terrorists across the country.
He said the PPP workers stand behind human right activists who are waging struggle for protection of easy preys in the society.
