A three-day training workshop on “Scientific Research Tools” is being organized from May 7-9, 2014 by Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Centre (PASTIC). The main objective of the workshop is to build the capacity of young researchers and to enhance their professional skills in data analysis, bibliography management, and preparation of dissertation & research papers through utilization of latest software tools (QIQQA, SPSS, LATEX & R Language). Thirty participant including faculty members and M. Phil/ Ph. D research scholars from different S&T Universities of Islamabad are among the beneficiary of the workshop. In the inaugural session, Director General PASTIC, Dr Muhammad Akram Shaikh in his welcome address highlighted that PASTIC is a gateway to wealth of Scientific and Technological (S&T) Information across the country.
