I am surprised that men like Dr Tahirul Qadri, who this country gave an opportunity to blossom and achieve, chose to abandon it and of their own sweet will pledged an oath of allegiance to another nation and its sovereign, now have the audacity to indulge in its politics. Of course there is a lot that is wrong in Pakistan, its political elite, the establishment and various institutions funded by taxpayers.
We must all submit to the supremacy of constitution and the writ of law. However this reformation and restructuring process should be carried out by citizens of Pakistan for whom this is their motherland, where they would live and die, not abandon it for superficial benefits.
Pakistan was created through a constitutional struggle by men of character, conviction and commitment and who refused to betray their motherland. Neither were they willing to fall for temptations and greed for vast tracts of land offered by the Colonial Raj, a foreign passport, nor titles. Nationality and faith are unique in similarity because in reality you can have only one religion, just like you can be loyal to only one nation. There are people who can switch nationalities as and when it suits them, just like few for whom religion and faith have no importance.
What Pakistan needs is leadership with total commitment to this country in the sense that all their assets and stakes are located within its geographical boundaries. The problem is that those who have been at the helm of affairs have no stakes in this country, nor are they willing to submit their children to the destiny that millions of Pakistanis would have to endure, as a consequence of their decisions. What Pakistan needs are sons and daughters like Shaheed Aziz Bhatti, Shaheed Shabbir Sharif, or the patriot M M Alam etc, willing to sacrifice their all for honour and freedom of their motherland; not individuals who enjoy highest of office and make fortunes, but once out of power their conscience allows them to shift lock, stock and barrel to UK, Canada, Australia etc.

Tariq Malik is fond of writing letter are submit to all the newspapers. Sometimes he gets lucky and his sermons gets published. He should not forget his own antics and cheap tricks.before criticizing a great Scholar like Allama Tahir Ul Qadri. Dr. Qadri is a better citizen of this country than any one else. . It is his motherland too. This world has become a global village. It does not matter where one lives or choose to live. Who is he to blame good DR. for abondoning the country.
By living in Canada he has not given up citizenship. Mr. Malik should acquaint himself with laws , there is something like dual nationality which is recognized all over the world. If the system becomes decadent, it has to be reformed. All those who are satisfied with the present system would criticize the reformists. No wonder he does not like Dr. Qadri's stance and calls him outsider.
Dr. Qadri has bright ideas for reforms. He was right before te elections , and he is right now for the reforms of the system. People of Pakistan can make up their own mind on the Dr. Qadri's national agenda. He is not a self seeker but a self righteous man, motivated by only the national interest..
Super response Javaid Bashir! likes of Tariq Malik are dogs of status quo leashed on any threat they feel from true democracy! good that this time we have a pro democracy dog hunter revolutionist! these dogs are no longer a threat to democracy as people are not empowered with the force of conviction! they now know Thair ul Qadri was right and what he says is right! they maligned him but in return he sparked the candle of revolution in millions of hearts! last year there was one tahir ul Qadri and a millions followers… now there are a million Tahir ul Qadris and billions of followers!
Tahir ul Qadri can bring destruction and more bloodshed in the country, nothing else. He is only a liar.
Well irony & tragedy of this country is presence of people like Tariq Malik. He isn’t alone here. There of dozen of paid letter writers, journalist and anchor who have mastered in twisting the reality and spreading the confusion. When they can not find any room of criticism in the powerful and crystal clear and strong message of Dr Qadri they start beating around the bushes by bringing non issues in limelight. Walk around the streets and ask common people of Pakistan. What is there issue? Dual Nationality of Dr Qadri or corruption of ruling elite. What is worse being dual national or looting people money in trillions and investing it outside with keeping themselves in power. These blind critics does not see the services of Dr Qadri and his organisation of Pakistan in the field of education and social welfare for more than three decades. They do not want to mentioned that both of his sons after completing PHD from prestigious international universities are living in Pakisan and serving the nation. They do not highlight that despite establishing a world wide set up of his organisation with hundreds of education and centres worth to billions of dollars Dr Qadri has only one kanal house in his name on whole earth. And why would they do so, they are on payroll of thier corrupt masters and will dance on their signal and repeat like a parrot what they tell them to say. How unfortunate are we Pakistani who have elevated these kind of people to the status of opinion maker!!
it is high time Islamic forces of Pakistan unite and start cleaning our society from the corrupt english imported culture Muslims & all friend of Islamic Pakistan must help those who wants sharia islamic laws be implemented in Islamic Pakistan
As long people like Fazal-ur-Rahman are around, this would remain a dream.
Brothers and Sisters we have seen this Democracy and Military Dictatorship and all above the columnist write for 65 years…what have they done for the basic needs of Pakistanis? Still children Die in SIND for no Food u Remember? and politicians enjoying the Parties… Its 1 example there are hundreds……… OK we have face this its our Luck, So we pakistani Nation Think its enough ……. Now we have to fight to give Bright Future to our coming Generation…….. Its the Time if we loose it we will repent for years…..
