LAHORE
A German parliamentary delegation visited the National College of Arts on Friday.
The delegation, led by German Parliament President Prof Dr Norbert Lammert, was warmly received by NCA Principal Prof Dr Murtaza Jafri. He briefed them about the departments of the institute and art courses.
The delegation visited different departments of the college. A documentary on art and history of the college was also shown to the delegation and the Mime Society of NCA performed.
Dr Norbert praised the performance of the college and took keen interest in paintings made by students.
German Ambassador to Pakistan Dr Cyrill Nunn and Punjab Finance Minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rahman were also present.
