VII Astana Economic Forum (AEF) will take place on May 21st-23rd 2014.

VII AEF will continue its work in discussing significant issues of the global economy and in the development of recommendations. As part of the Forum, II World Anti-Crisis Conference will be held which is planned to outline and accept the Draft Concept of the World Anti-Crisis Plan (CWAP). It is expected that more than 10, 000 delegates from the UN member-states will participate in an upcoming event.

As stressed by a regular AEF participant, an outstanding scientist, 2005 Nobel Memorial prize in Economics, Professor Robert Aumann, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, “Astana Economic Forum is a large-scale event. Agreatnumber of famous experts and economists participate in the Forum. During all my life I have participated in similar conferences and events. Their main goal and key role is to discuss and exchange opinions on the most significant issues. In this case, Astana gives us all an opportunity to unite and tackle these questions”.

At the same time, the scientist has noted that Kazakhstan is one of the most peaceful and active players at an international arena.

“Astana has become an ideal place where conferences should be held inviting to a search for solutions on world economic problems. Certainly, in fighting against crisis these conferences position Kazakhstan on leading roles, and as a result, they will bring only beneficial and fruitful results”, Aumann, 2005 Nobel Memorial prize winner in Economics has said.
