A college principal Tuesday resigned from his post in protest of pressure to allow cheating during college exams.
According to the report, Fazal Mehmood; Principal of S M Arts and Commerce College, was being pressurised to allow malpractice and cheating during the annual exams. Sources added that Mehmood had declined to do so and upon increased pressure from certain groups, he resigned from his post. The regional directorate has taken notice of the event and has sought a report.
