Muttahida Quami Movement leader Faisal Sabzwari said on Monday that the objective of the party to join the Sindh government was to represent its voters and to raise issues in the house.

Addressing the opening ceremony of a peace cricket tournament organised by the All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organization (APMSO), Faisal Sabzwari, said the event holds importance as an extra-curricular activity for the youth during suffocating times.

He added that it was a tradition of APMSO to attract the younger generations towards positive activities within the educational institutions. Other members of the party said that playgrounds and other facilities should be provided to the students so as they can earn respect for the country as well as improving their skills.

  1. Good decision. People Partys government san MQM was lop sided. It is a clear fact that PPP has no mandate from Urban Sind which is 40% of total. That is why Sind government was very weak and lacked legitimacy.

To remain with the Government of PPP was a bitter experience for MQM. They had reasons to be away from the power and they did remain in opposition for more than one year.

The PPP should value the sentiments and logic of MQM and should not disappoint people at peolese expense.
