24 militants exterminated in airstrikes in Khyber tribal areas

Latest airstrikes by fighter jets killed at least 24 suspected militants and injured 20 others on Thursday in the Kyber tribal areas of Bara and Jamrud, a private news channel reported.

According to the report, a search operation was launched by security forces in these areas while fighter jets bombed the hideouts of militants in Tor Dara, Wache Yone Dawa Toi, Spera Dam, Merokhel,Kokikhel in Tirrah valley and areas around Akakhel.

The militants targeted belonged to Lashkar-e-Islam and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and sources suggest that they were involved in the recent attacks in Islamabad, Chaman, Charsadda and Badbher.

Report adds that the air strikes continue in the area at the moment.

  1. Good news. They only understand language of gun. The members talban taks team may also be targeted as they are also Taliban who are living in country.
