At the airport, Ghufran Marghoob, accompanied by Human Rights Activist Asnar Burney, was awarded warm welcome by family members, friends and relatives.
Speaking on this occasion, Ghufran Marghoob said he was barred from leaving Libya for several reasons, including offloading of oil from vessel and security.
He thanked each and everyone for help securing their release from Libya.
It may be recalled that vessel’s five crew members – Captain Mirza Nauman Baig, Second Officer Mehdi Shamsi, Third Officer Syed Asif Hassan and Naik Zada and Muhammad Irshad – had arrived in Pakistan on April 5.
