Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rahsid has said that there were no rifts among the state institutions and that they stand with those who believe in reasonable dialogue.
Talking to media on Tuesday, the information minister said that the prime minister personally met Hamid Mir at the hospital in Karachi
He said that all the institutions are honorable. ‘We have a relation of love with the media and have deep faith in our national security institutions.’
Rashid said that all the state institutions are playing their role under the parameters set by the constitution. No institution opposed any matter on national agenda in the past five years, he added.
Replying to a question, Rashid said that deadlock in talks with the Taliban is part of the dialogue process.
