Rawalpindi City Traffic Police Officer (CTO) Khurram Shoaib Janbaz Saturday said schedule for the supply of CNG to the motorists would be revised according to the advice given by the city traffic police to overcome traffic mess.
The CTO said the motorists were facing numerous problems in getting CNG and queues of vehicles on Murree Road were creating hurdle in the smooth flow of traffic besides causing problems for the ongoing work on Metro Bus Project.
He said, “We have suggested to the ministry that time schedule of opening and closing of CNG stations be changed from 10am to 4pm.”
The CTO said it has been assured that that the ministry after consultation with other stakeholders, would revise the schedule to facilitate the commuters and resolve traffic problem on the roads.
