The Railways Police recovered a heavy cache of weapons from a Shalimar Express coach on Friday.
As per details, three suspects identified as Haris, Shafi and Israr have been arrested for shifting the arms to Karachi without permit.
Amid tight security at Lahore Railway Station, the suspects managed to sneak weapons through security officials, CCTV cameras and walkthrough gates.
The weapons include 28 pistols, seven Kalashnikovs and more than thousand bullets.
Police have contacted the home ministry for further action in this regard.
