Another minor dies of malnutrition, toll mounts to 248

Despite tall claims of the provincial government, health authorities and district administration, death toll of children continues to mount as another minor girl died due to malnutrition in famine-hit Thar district on Tuesday.

A two-year-old girl, Naveta Kohli, who was under treatment in Taluka Hospital Diplo, expired during treatment. After this death, the toll due to malnutrition in the famine-hit Thar district has climbed to 248. The dwellers of the district alleged that the government and district administration was doing nothing for local population except paying lip services and verbal claims.
