Uncle slaughters nephews on behest of fake amil

In an awful incident, two children were found slaughtered on the outskirts of Islamabad today (Monday) and another critically injured. Police were investigating the incident, a private news channel reported

Police claimed the children were brothers whom their maternal uncle kidnapped from Rawalpindi two days back and slaughtered two of them on behest of a fake Amil (faith/spiritual healer).

Accused Nadeem was childless and the fake faith healer had asked him to bring blood of a child so his problem could be solved.

Police were conducting raids to track down the accused who escaped after throwing the kids in jungle of Bara Kahu village on the northeastern outskirts of Islamabad.

Rescue officials said throats of two children, aging between 10 and 12 years, were slit with a sharp-edged weapon, while the third one was injured, with cuts on his throat.

Police officer Malik Safder said that the injured child was shifted to Islamabad’s ChildrenHospital where he informed the police about the incident during the treatment. Medics said he is out of danger now.

Officials collected evidences from the site and started further investigations.
