NAWABSHAH / RAHIM YAR KHAN-
A railway track on Wednesday was blown up, minutes after an Awami Express train passed through the Sarhari railway station of Nawabshah, a private news channel reported.
Police and Bomb Disposal Squad rushed to the site and cordoned off the area.
There have been no casualties or injuries.
Also on Wednesday, police authorities foiled a plan to blow up a railway track in Sadiqabad area of Rahim Yar Khan.
Two to three kilogram of explosive material were discovered planted at the railway track and the BDS was called in.
On Tuesday, a blast in a train at Sibi railway station had killed at least 17 people and wounded 48 others.
